Judge Marilyn Milian brings her style of justice to The People’s Court. She is the first Latina Judge to host a nationally syndicated court program and is proud of her Cuban heritage. She received an undergraduate degree from University of Miami and attended Georgetown Law School. Milian was appointed to State Attorney for Dade County Florida, then was appointed to the County Court in Florida, then the Miami County Court Domestic Violence Court Criminal and Civil Division.

Nancy donated her time and helped staff the hotline at an Atlanta battered women's center for 10 years. Nancy Grace came to television from the Atlanta Fulton County District Attorney's Office. Nancy has been honored many times for her work in the law, and on behalf of victims. Since her marriage and the birth of her twins, Nancy says, “I feel even more passionate about fighting for victims.”

judge mathis Greg Mathis was a high school drop out and gang member who was in and out of jail. He went on to become the youngest judge in Michigan’s history.  He then was elected a Superior Court Judge for Michigan’s 36th district. Mathis wrote a book about his experiences called “Inner City Miracle” published in 2002. He is committed to social change, economic growth and education, literacy, youth advocacy, labor rights, and empowerment.
