If you haven’t noticed, the morning network news programs have really heated up in the last few months. NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, and CBS This Morning have been in a war trying to keep their audience intact. Today has lost out across the country to Good Morning America for the first time in more than a decade. Something new is on the horizon and starting Monday, August 6 it will happen right here on Fox 23. The Daily Buzz, the only LIVE, let me repeat that, the only LIVE national over the air morning news program starts right here on KBSI at 7:00 a.m. The program is in over 175 television market across the United States and broadcasts Monday through Friday. Starting August 6 there is a new line up of hosts. Charles Divens is a veteran of daytime and primetime TV. Lisa Spooner is a former Miss Texas with a journalism degree from Texas A & M. Lance Smith is most widely known as the face of Country Music Television, and Jessica Reyes has hosted weekly television and radio shows in Florida and Washington DC. The Daily Buzz is on a mission to change the face of morning network television delivering fresh news, weather, and the latest social and media trends. While Today, GMA and CBS are trying to find themselves we are delighted to bring you The Daily Buzz starting Monday August 6 at 7 a.m. Remember, it is not on a one hour tape delay like the other three networks. It is LIVE right here on Fox 23.The Daily Buzz
