Storms Saturday, cool weekend
Storms will be possible over the weekend, with the better chance on Saturday. Temperatures will be below average through Monday.
Showers and storms are going to be possible on and off on Saturday. Strong to severe storms, if they do happen, will be most likely in the late afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be well below average, at least through the weekend.
The middle 80s will be common across our area Saturday afternoon. More cloud cover and scattered showers and storms will keep our temperatures down.
The best chance for storms will be in the early evening. Storms that do form may have some hail and damaging wind.
Because of this, the Storm Prediction Center has us in a Marginal to Slight Risk for severe weather.
With the added moisture, that may mean more mosquitos. It’ll be “high” on Saturday and “medium” Sunday and Monday.
Summer comes back next week with lots of 90s in the forecast!
