Isolated chance Sunday; hotter from here

With some light showers seen in northeast Missouri, some of that may linger to give us some light showers in spots early Sunday, but not for long. Isolated chances will come back by Sunday afternoon, with daytime heating driving some light rain here and there. Not everyone will see this.

Stormcast

It’s really our slow but steady warm up that continues to be the headline. High pressure will build from the west, giving us many dry and hot days. This looks to be the case into the end of the month.

Jess Next 4 Days Highs

Because of the isolated chance for a storm to pop up Sunday for some, the Skeeter Meter ranges from “High” to closer to “Ugh” for those that see more humidity and moisture under a shower or two. But from here on out, we get more humid and hot Monday and Tuesday with minimal rain chances after Sunday.

Next week will be a quiet end to the month, especially compared to our last week. We could use a break, and we’ll get it as temperatures slowly by surely climb back to the 90s. With humidity back by Monday, it’ll feel closer to the upper 90s and nearing 100° for several days.
