Spot storms, heat remains

A few storms will be possible on Saturday, otherwise partly cloudy skies will prevail. We’ll be dry on Sunday into early next week. The heat sticks around for quite a while, but does back off a bit in the coming days.
We start the day in the upper 70s and top out in the upper 90s. It’s going to be hot and mostly dry, but a spot storm will be possible.
Overall, we’ll be in the upper 90s and lower 100s. A hot day, for sure.
With dewpoints in the 70s, we’ll see a heat index in the 100-110 degree range.
A spot storm will be possible on and off throughout the day. Above shows what one model says about the mid afternoon.
Overall, it’s going to be hot, so a Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat Warning is in place through Saturday.
With minimal rain chances, the Skeeter Meter will be medium for a while. Good news there!
The chances for rain over the next seven days are hit and miss. Temperatures do cool off a little, too!
