Heat Advisory through Saturday evening

A Heat Advisory is currently in effect through most of SEMO and portions of southern Illinois and western Kentucky. This advisory is set through 7 p.m. Saturday evening for the dangerous heat and humid conditions expected through much of the afternoon.

Heat indices on Saturday could be as high as 110° in a few spots, so be sure to stay cool and safe if outdoors. Take frequent water breaks, find shade, wear loose clothing and/or escape to air conditioning as much as possible.
