Warm with possible showers on Labor Day
Labor Day will be another warm day with the possibility for showers mainly in SE Missouri. The pop up storms will start in the afternoon and continue into the evening. There will still be dry time for any outdoor activities in the morning and early afternoon.
Highs are forecast to reach the lower 90s and upper 80s.
Not everyone will see the storm activity, stormcast has these showers lingering around parts of SE Missouri.
With the potential for strong thunderstorms, there is a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for Severe Weather over parts of SE Missouri. Main concerns are frequent lightning and strong thunderstorms.
Dew points are on the higher side in the upper 70s and lower 80s. There will be a humid feel in the air when stepping outside.
With higher temperatures, humidity and a chance for precipitation the next three days our Skeeter Meter is in the high ranking.
There are a few chances for storms activity throughout the next work week. Best chances for precipitation are Wednesday and Thursday. Even with the storm chances there will be lots of dry time. The sunshine comes back next weekend.
