A slow warm up this week
“Warmer” temperatures will start off our new work week. A slight chance for morning rain will be our last chance for precipitation until the end of the week.
Other than a chance for light rain in the morning, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies through the afternoon. There will be a slow decrease in cloud cover as the evening approaches.
Monday’s high temperatures will warm into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Monday starts a warming trend that will take us into the weekend.
Monday morning there is a chance for lingering light rain mainly in parts of SEMO and Southern Illinois. The precipitation moves east by the afternoon leaving behind a few clouds throughout the day.
Following light rain the first half of the day on Monday, we’ll stay mainly dry through the week. Tuesday and Wednesday will be the best time to wash your car, with dry skies and seasonally warm temperatures.
A seasonally warm week ahead. Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s by Friday. A chance for showers and possible storms arrives for the weekend.
