Precipitation chances through next work week

Rain chances arrive this coming week with strong winds. On and off chances for rain are likely into next weekend.

The chance for showers arrives in SEMO, by late afternoon and will bring rain chances to a majority of the area. While this system carries over into Tuesday night a transition into light snow is possible.

While we see a cloudy first half of the day, showers arrive in the late afternoon/early evening. Temperatures start near normal, before warming into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

The probability of rain increases in the early evening and continues on and off throughout Tuesday.

Rain totals ranging from .68-1″ are possible across the FOX23 viewing area following Monday and Tuesday’s precipitation chances.

Throughout the week there will be a few chances for precipitation. The first half of Monday will be mostly cloudy, then in the early evening we see rain arrive in SEMO. We will have a brief pause in precipitation on Wednesday and most of Thursday, before another chance for rain arrives. Mixed precipitation is possible Friday, with a chance for light snow.
