Icy weather possible Monday
A winter weather system is going to push in from the southwest and move northeast Sunday night into Monday. This will push precipitation through parts of our viewing area, some of which could be freezing rain.
Light freezing rain will be possible on and off Monday for much of our viewing area.
The heavier potential will be well to our west, but parts of SE Missouri may see around a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain and freezing rain. Travel may be impacted.
Because of the freezing rain potential Monday, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of the area to our west. Travel in this area will see difficult driving conditions during the day.
