Start of summer off summer-like with heat, humidity
Hot and humid is the story over the next couple days before we see the chance for showers returning at the end of the weekend. We’ll be into the upper 80s by noon with light winds out of the south southeast.
Temperatures across the region Friday will be a couple degrees above average, reaching highs in the lower 90s with a few areas finding themselves in the mid to upper 90s!
Dew point temperatures will sit in the upper 60s and lower 70s across the region, which continues the trend of hot and humid that we’ve seen over the past couple days.
We’ll carry into the weekend in the lower 90s with mostly sunny conditions until the afternoon hours on Sunday. There’s a small chance for showers and thunderstorms possible after 1 pm, but the chance for rain will be wrapped up before the start of the work week.
Mother Nature will take no time introducing us to summer, as highs to start next week top out in the mid 90s! We’ll see a chance for some morning showers on Wednesday before we look to finally drop out of the 90s on Thursday of next week.
