Warming back up tomorrow, storms Wednesday

Temperatures return into the lower 90s tomorrow after seeing highs well below average throughout the region on Monday with winds expected out of the east.

The rest of the region will see near average high temperatures sitting in the upper 80s and lower 90s for Tuesday.

The threat for severe weather returns again on Wednesday, with storms expected in the region during the late afternoon into the evening hours. The primary hazard associated with these storms is expected to be damaging wind.

These storms will make viewing fireworks a little tricky. Storms are expected most of Wednesday evening and the chance will continue into Independence Day. Short range models do not go far enough to guarantee a good show on the Fourth, so having a back-up plan to celebrate the holiday will be a good idea.

Heat and humidity will also be an issue on Wednesday as we could see heat indices easily reach triple digits by the afternoon. The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues through the back half of the week. Mostly sunny skies are expected for the weekend before seeing a small chance for showers and thunderstorms on Monday.
