Heat festers in days coming up, advisory in place
Some very isolated showers and storms will linger into the evening hours on Saturday. Areas that see possibly heavy rain is where some patchy fog could develop overnight.
Hot and humid conditions through the end of the weekend and early next week have promoted a Heat Advisory for most of us that will last until Monday evening. Heat index values could be up to 105 degrees Sunday and Monday afternoons during the peak heating hours.
And it isn’t just Sunday and Monday that look hot. Even Tuesday, temperatures will be nearing the mid 90s again until relief comes Wednesday.
Factoring in the humidity for what it’ll feel like each of the next few afternoons, the heat index will approach about 105-106° through the worst of it.
Then by the end of the week, the temperature outlook favors below average temperatures in our area!
We’ll continue to dream of cooler temperatures until we can experience them later this upcoming week.
