Cooling off for the weekend
After several warm days in a row, some cooler air is going to filter in for the weekend. Temperatures will start out near normal early Saturday, then struggle to warm up.
Highs will be below average for everybody for the first time in quite a while! Middle and upper 40s will be common.
The weekend will be dry, but a chance for rain moves in Monday, then a chance for some strong to severe storms on Tuesday.
The severe weather risk will be when a line of storms moves through Tuesday evening. StormCast below shows the timing and duration.
The Storm Prediction Center already has us on the northern edge of the severe weather risk.
Hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes will be possible.
