Strong winds and possible storms this afternoon, WINDY Wednesday

There is a Marginal Risk for severe storms today with a Slight Risk further south. Scattered storms may have strong winds and hail in them.

StormCast shows the line of heavy rain and possible storms moving through around 1-6pm today. The strongest of these storms will be near 2pm.

The winds will be the main concern today. Straight line winds up to 60+ mph will move through this afternoon. This could cause power outages, down power lines and down tree limbs.

A WIND ADVISORY is in effect through Wednesday evening. Winds up to 55+ mph possible.

Rainfall totals up to 0.5″ for most of us through this evening.

Wednesday, winds will be gusting 30-40 mph all day. A WINDY Wednesday!

Wednesday morning, temperatures in the lower 40s for all of us.

Wednesday, temperatures not warming up much, only a few degrees.
