Strong and severe storms EXPECTED Thursday and Friday
Thursday, there is a SLIGHT risk for severe weather. Scattered storms will be possible Thursday afternoon into late Thursday night.
A few tornadoes will be possible.
Large hail (especially within the black hash mark shaded region) will be possible with 2″ hail in diameter or larger possible.
Damaging wind will also be of concern with storms that come through.
StormCast shows some storms developing in the early afternoon and dissipating by the evening. Early Saturday morning, storms try and develop towards the south.
Friday afternoon through early Saturday, severe storms areEXPECTED across the KBSI viewing area. Definitely be weather aware Friday. An ENHANCED risk is in effect for Friday.
Friday afternoon and evening, some strong and severe storms look to develop and move west to east through the evening time. Wind, large hail and a few tornadoes possible through Friday.
Friday evening, a line of storms moves north to south. This line of storms will have flash flooding, large hail and damaging wind potential.
Rainfall totals through Early Saturday range from 1.00″-2.00″+. Flooding will be likely in some areas, especially through Friday.

Thursday morning, temperatures in the upper 60s for all of us. A well above average morning, which will help with storm development in the afternoon and evening.
Thursday, temperatures warming up into the lower 90s. One of our hottest days we will see for a while.
There will be quite a bit of moisture in the atmosphere. Temperature/ dewpoint is about 20 degrees. The atmosphere will have a decent amount of instability for storm growth and development.
South winds will be gusting up to 20+ mph throughout the afternoon and evening.
