Memorial Day storm chances

Showers and storms are going to be possible for Memorial Day across much of the area.

Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.

Rain may be heavy at times. A half an inch to an inch of rain will be possible through Monday into very early Tuesday.

Temperatures will be held down quite a bit by the cloud cover and rainfall potential. We’ll be a good 10 to 15 degrees below average.

We slowly but surely warm up as we head through the last days of May. Storms likely Monday and Tuesday, then possible on Friday.
