Isolated storms Sunday afternoon and evening

Sunday afternoon and evening, a few isolated showers and thunderstorms in parts of SE Missouri. A hot start to the week, with temperatures in the upper 80s and a few lower 90s. Wednesday through Friday, scattered storm chances possible with some storms having severe potential. Make sure to stay up to date with the latest forecast going into next week.

Sunday morning, temperatures will be a few degrees warmer in the lower 60s for all of us.

Sunday, temperatures warming up a few degrees in the low to mid 80s, with mostly sunny skies and a northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday afternoon and evening, some isolated storms look to develop in parts of SE Missouri. These storms will stay south of Cape Girardeau with the main concerns being lightning, heavy downpours and small hail.

Rain totals through Sunday night look to be just above a tenth of an inch for parts of SE Missouri and northern Tennessee.
