Storms likely late Sunday night
Sunday, a MARGINAL risk for severe weather is in effect for most of the KBSI viewing area. A SLIGHT risk is in effect for most of SE Missouri. Main concerns will be damaging wind and small hail.
Damaging winds up to 70 mph will also be of concern with storms that come through.
Large hail up to 1.00″ in diameter or larger possible in SE Missouri.
Monday, a MARGINAL risk for severe weather is in effect for parts of Kentucky and Tennessee.
StormCast shows some storms developing in the late evening hours Sunday. Any storms that get going, could have damaging winds and hail.
Rainfall totals through Monday evening are ranging from 0.10″- 0.25″+. Some storms could have heavy downpours, which will lead to minor flash flooding in some areas.
Sunday morning, temperatures will be a few degrees above average, in the upper 60s for all of us.
Northwest winds will be gusting to around 15-20 mph throughout your Sunday morning.
Sunday, expect around-average temperatures in the low to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies.
Sunday evening through Monday afternoon, storms look to develop in parts of SE Missouri and move east into Monday. Main concerns being damaging winds and small hail. Temperatures warm up into the 80s by mid week and storm chances return by next weekend.
