Dry weather holds for now, rain returns by Friday
Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures warm up into the upper 80s with plenty of sunshine. Thursday night, a slight chance for an isolated rain shower or two. This weekend, storms look to be likely across the region. We will be monitoring this storm threat and any potential severe threat through this week.
Tuesday morning, temperatures will be a few degrees cooler for most of us, in the upper 50s and lower 60s for all of us. There will also be some areas of patchy fog in parts of Illinois Tuesday morning.

Tuesday, expect one more day of below-average temperatures in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies.
Starting Sunday, temperatures look to stay a few degrees above average in the upper 80s.
We could also be seeing some more rainfall through the start of next week.
