Extreme heat through this week with rain chances soon

Tuesday afternoon, temperatures will feel like 105 – 115 degrees across the region. These conditions will continue through Thursday afternoon. Make sure to take the proper precautions if you are working or being outside this week.

By 11:00 AM Tuesday morning, temperatures will already feel like the triple digits. Peak extreme heat will occur from 1pm- 6pm for the next several days.

An EXTREME HEAT WARNING is in effect through Thursday night due to the heat indices exceeding 105+ degrees.

Tuesday, the high temperatures will reach the mid to upper 90s with calm winds and sunny skies.

Temperatures look to be well above normal for most of the U.S July 27-31! Some parts of the midwest could see temperatures near 105 degrees.

A HOT and HUMID week ahead across the region. There will be a few small chances for isolated rain showers Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and evening. This weekend, a few storm chances will be possible with temperatures remaining in the 90s.
