Near Average Temperatures Continue
Forecast:
High temperatures today are expected to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s across our area. Mostly sunny skies on Wednesday with a light and variable wind.
Low temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 60s, with a few spots staying above the 70-degree mark. Mostly clear skies tonight with light winds.
Stormcast keeps us clear from precipitation for both the morning and evening commutes on Thursday. A few clouds will be possible, particularly during the afternoon.
High temperatures tomorrow will be a couple of degrees above average in the lower 90s with mostly sunny skies. Light winds continue with humidity driving our heat index into the upper 90s.
For Cape Girardeau, plenty of sunshine on Thursday as tempeartures quickly heat up during the morning hours. Our high temperature for tomorrow will be in the lower 90s with a light breeze.
Dew points will hover around the 75-degree mark for the next couple of days. Heat index values will still be in the upper 90s for the majority of the forecast.
We will be slightly warmer through the weekend before returning to near average on Sunday. Highs in the lower 90s and lows in the lower 70s will be the case for the foreseeable future. We can expect our area to stay dry until our next best chance at precipitation enters the forecast next Tuesday.
