Heat is sticking around

Here we go again! Another day with temperatures starting in the 70s and ending up the 90s.

With dew points hovering in the lower 70s, the heat index will be pushing into the triple digits once again.

Most of us will see plenty of sunshine, a calm wind, and highs in the middle 90s.

That dew point just won’t go down!

Since the dew point remains in the 70s and highs are in the mid 90s, the heat index will once again be at 100+ degrees.

We continue to warm up, too. 100s are possible as we head through the weekend and into next week. Storms are possible Tuesday and beyond.
