EXTREME HEAT through Tuesday- Cooler air Wednesday

The heat and humidity will continue through Tuesday. Daily highs will be in the middle to upper 90s, while maximum afternoon heat indices will generally range from 100-108 each day.

A cold front will move in late Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing some relief from the 90s for awhile! Scattered showers and storms Sunday afternoon as well as Tuesday through Thursday.

A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect through Tuesday night. Temperatures will feel like 100-110 degrees through Tuesday. Make sure to check on family and animals through this heat wave!

Sunday afternoon, temperatures staying HOT with high temperatures reaching the upper 90s across the region. Temperatures will remain near 93- 98 degrees throughout Tuesday!

Sunday afternoon and evening, temperatures will feel 5-10 degrees hotter as dew points remain in the upper 60s and low 70s.
