Forecast:

Temperatures will drop a few degrees today from the past few days, with highs still expected to be in the lower and mid-80s. Mostly sunny skies on Sunday with a northeast wind between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

Cooler temperatures ahead this evening as lows fall into the middle to upper 50s and lower 60s. Partly cloudy skies are expected this evening with winds remaining out of the northeast.

Labor Day across the heartland looks to be pleasant with temperatures in the lower to mid-80s for much of our area. A few of our southeastern counties are expected to reach the upper 80s tomorrow, with mostly sunny skies and a few fair-weather clouds expected across our area.

Beautiful weather ahead for Cape tomorrow with highs in the mid-80s and mostly sunny skies. A few passing clouds are expected, particularly in the morning, and a nice breeze out of the northeast will make it a perfect day to enjoy some time outdoors.

We stay dry through the holiday weekend before entering a more active weather pattern on Tuesday and Wednesday. Scattered showers will be possible for the return to work on Tuesday, seen above in the latest runs of Stormcast.

Following a mid-week cold front, temperatures drop for the back half of next week. Mostly sunny skies return with the cool down, and continue into next weekend. Temperatures will climb back into the lower and middle 80s by Friday.
