Scattered Storms, Near Average Temperatures on Tuesday
Forecast:
High temperatures across the heartland today were near-average in the middle to upper 80s and lower 90s.
Low temperatures this evening fall to the upper 50s and lower 60s with partly cloudy skies. Light winds this evening and a mild end to the long holiday weekend.
High temperatures tomorrow cool off a few degrees thanks to some spotty afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny during the morning and highs in the lower and middle 80s.
In Cape, we start out sunny before scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow afternoon. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s with an east-northeast wind.
Stormcast shows the best chances of showers for our are between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow. If you have any outdoor afternoon plans or errands, best to take an umbrella with you.
Dew points continue to stay below 70 degrees with the exception on Wednesday. Drier conditions are expected to continue going forward.
Chances for rain highlight the middle of the upcoming work week with highs temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Widespread sunshine returns for the end of the week, with high temperatures in the upper 70s for the upcoming weekend.
