Forecast:

Temperatures remain a few degrees above average on Saturday for Cape Girardeau under mostly sunny skies.

Low temperatures across the heartland will continue the trend of above average temperatures, with lows this evening in the lower 50s for most of us.

Mostly clear skies tonight in Cape until we see areas of patchy fog closer to sunset. Light winds this evening with lows in the lower 50s.

Sunday’s forecast will be nearly identical to what we are seeing on Saturday with mostly sunny skies and a light breeze for Cape.

We will reach the upper 70s once again in Cape for Sunday under mostly sunny skies. A very pleasant close to the weekend as we head toward the middle of October.

High temperatures across the heartland on Sunday will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

A warmer stretch to start the work week with highs in the lower 80s before we return for a few days in the upper 70s late this week. Mostly sunny skies are expected through the upcoming work week, with storm chances entering the forecast with a passing upper-level disturbance next weekend.
