Building Cloud Cover, Small Chance of Showers Monday Evening
Temperatures quickly turn to the 40s this evening under mostly clear skies.
Highs today were close to average across our area. Not far down the road we see temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
We have a chilly evening ahead with many of us dropping into the 30s.
Mostly clear skies tonight in Cape Girardeau with a north-northeasterly wind bringing our lows into the mid-30s.
Stormcast shows cloud cover building for the start of the work week before showers begin moving into our area Monday afternoon and into the evening.
Highs will be similar to Sunday, with many in the lower 60s.
Increasing cloud cover for Cape with highs in the lower 60s. Winds shift to be out of the southeast with a small chance of an evening shower.
Chances for showers and a stray thunderstorm will be possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures this week will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, with rain chances possible throughout the work week.
