Mostly Cloudy, Storm Chances Through Friday Morning
Temperatures will look to remain steady for the rest of the afternoon with heavy cloud cover and showers likely over the next several hours.
Stormcast shows a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm continuing throughout the overnight hours and during the Friday morning commute.
We will not see much cooling across the Heartland this evening, with lows dropping to the middle and upper 50s.
Showers and potentially a thunderstorm will be possible tonight for Cape Girardeau. Lows will be in the mid-50s with a light breeze.
Showers and early morning cloud cover will work to limit afternoon high temperatures, with most of the Heartland in the 60s and lower 70s for Friday.
A rainy start to the day in Cape, but we should see a break in the rain by late afternoon. Temperatures tomorrow will reach the mid-60s with a south-southwesterly wind.
This weekend looks to be fairly dry with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Chances for rain return to the forecast early next week, with temperatures cooling down into the 40s by Thanksgiving.
