Sunny and Chilly for Thanksgiving

Temperatures on Wednesday will top out in the upper 40s before returning to the 30s this evening. Cloud cover is expected to increase throughout the evening, with mostly cloudy skies expected overnight.

Low temperatures will be close to freezing for most of us, which is right around average for this time of year.
Mostly cloudy skies for Cape Girardeau this evening, with lows in the lower 30s. A light breeze is expected out of the west-northwest.
Thanksgiving high temperatures will be below average across the Heartland, with many of us in the 40s.
We will see a little more cloud cover to start the day, with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will be chilly, with our high temperature reaching the mid-40s.
A more active weather pattern enters the picture late Friday and throughout the day Saturday. A wintry mix is possible on Saturday morning before turning to rain by the afternoon. Rain chances continue through the weekend with another chance of wintry precipitation on Monday. Highs will gradually drop from the lower 40s and into the lower to middle 30s.
