Partly Sunny for Friday, Cold Stretch Continues
Temperatures will remain chilly for the rest of the afternoon as we hover around freezing in southeast Missouri.
Any rain chances for the rest of Thursday look to pass to our south and east. Stormcast shows a few clouds, but keeps us clear of precipitation chances heading into the weekend.
Overnight lows continue to be well below average as our latest stretch of colder temperatures drags on.
A few passing clouds tonight in Cape Girardeau, but temperatures will still drop to the lower 20s. Winds out of the north will not do us any favors in terms of keeping us warm.
Highs on Friday will be close to 10 degrees warmer than they were on Thursday. Most of us will see the lower 40s.
Partly sunny skies tomorrow in Cape with our highs in the lower 40s. Winds shift tomorrow to be out of the south-southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
A little more sunshine on Saturday, followed by heavy cloud cover for Sunday, with temperatures in the 40s. Another blast of cold air on Monday will return us close to freezing, but temperatures look to quickly rebound by the middle of next week.
