Sunny, Warmer to Start the Week
Seasonable temperatures continue for the rest of our Sunday evening, dropping down into the 30s overnight.
Low temperatures across the Heartland will be a few degrees above average, with most of us close to the freezing point.
Skies will continue to clear overnight leaving us with chilly temperatures in Cape Girardeau.
The latest runs of StormCast continue to show a dry start to the work week.
A chilly, but clear start to our work week should leave for a smooth morning commute on Monday.
High temperatures across our area will be well above average with highs in the middle and upper 50s.
Sunny skies and a much warmer day ahead tomorrow in Cape with afternoon temperatures in the middle 50s. We will also see a light breeze out of the south-southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
Near-record high temperatures are on the way by Tuesday as high temperatures reach the 60s! Much needed precipitation to follow starting late Wednesday, with rain chances for Thursday and potentially a rumble of thunder or two by Friday!
