One More Warmer Day Tuesday
Temperatures remain in the 40s for the next several hours under mostly clear skies tonight across the Heartland.
Most of us will get close to freezing tonight, which will make for a chilly start to the day on Tuesday.
Clear skies will allow temperatures to drop tonight in Cape Girardeau down to the lower 30s. Winds are expected to stay on the lighter side.
Well above average once again for our Tuesday afternoon temperatures across the Heartland.
We should see the lower 60s tomorrow afternoon in Cape Girardeau as winds pick up out of the southwest gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
Chances for rain increase late Tuesday night and will continue into early Wednesday, according to the latest runs of StormCast.
The warmer weather looks to come to end with rain chances continuing into Wednesday morning. The sun does look to return for the rest of the work week, but high temperatures look to stay in the 30s and 40s going forward.
