Foggy Start to Wednesday, Sunshine and Close to Freezing in the Afternoon
Cold temperatures continue across the Heartland, with overnight temperatures expected in the single digits once again.
Overnight lows will be close to zero, and even below zero for a few of our northern counties.
Mostly cloudy this evening in Cape Girardeau with chances of fog possible through the overnight hours.
Outside of a foggy start to the day, StormCast continues to keep us dry for the next several days.
We try once again to crawl close to freezing on Wednesday, most of us falling a few degrees short during the afternoon.
Another frigid start to the day in Cape, but we should see some sunshine after the morning fog, warming us up to the upper 20s.
A little more cloud cover on Thursday before temperatures plummet with another blast of cold air late in the week. We do look to return close to freezing just in time for Groundhog’s Day.
