Another Cloudy, Chilly Day on Thursday
Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures close to freezing until close to dinnertime Wednesday evening.
Low temperatures remain well below average tonight, with many of us dropping to the middle and upper teens.
Despite heavy cloudy cover, we are still looking at a chilly evening ahead in Cape Girardeau.
Variable cloud cover continues across the region on Thursday, but the latest runs of StormCast keep us dry.
Highs on Thursday will be similar to Wednesday, with temperatures reaching the mid- to upper-30s for much of our area.
Continue to bundle up here in Cape as temperatures barely sneak above freezing during the afternoon hours.
The latest stretch of colder temperatures looks to come to an end on Friday as highs jump to the 50s. A brief cool down arrives on Saturday with a passing cold front, though a lack of moisture across the region should keep us dry. Highs in the lower 50s return on Sunday, ahead of rain chances by the middle of next week.
