Temperatures continue this evening in the 30s and 40s with variable cloud cover across the Heartland.
Temperatures will be close to average tonight with the majority of our area in the 20s and 30s.
Partly cloudy skies will continue for the overnight hours in Cape Girardeau, with temperatures reaching the lower 30s.
Above average temperatures are expected across the Heartland for the start of the work week.
Afternoon temperatures reach the middle 50s on Monday with light winds in Cape.
StormCast keeps us dry for the moment, but that will change heading into the middle of the work week.
We get a couple of chances of rain which should give us some good moisture across the region. Many of us could use the rain, as we are still under various classifications of drought according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
Temperatures peak on Tuesday in the lower 60s as rain chances continue for the majority of the work week. We cool off a little bit in the back half of the week, returning to near-average temperatures.
