Seasonal, Partly Cloudy for Thursday
After reaching highs in the lower 50s, we look to have a seasonal Wednesday evening ahead of us.
Tonight, lows will be just about average for much of the Heartland.
In Cape Girardeau, we should see mostly clear skies with temperatures reaching the lower 30s.
The latest runs of StormCast look to keep us dry for just about the rest of the work week.
We should see another day of the lower 50s on Thursday, putting us just a couple of degrees above average.
Cloud cover is expected to increase during the day in Cape before tapering off during the afternoon hours and into Thursday evening.
Our next best chance at rain looks to come this weekend, with one model showing rain totals upwards of an inch in several areas from late Friday through the day on Sunday.
Temperatures continue to remain above average, even with this weekend’s chances for rain. Afternoon highs look to pick up into the upper 50s and 60s early next week.
