Sunny, Seasonably Warm on Friday
Mild temperatures will continue for the rest of Thursday evening, with temperatures in the 50s until sunset.
Overnight temperatures will be seasonal for mid-February across the Heartland.
Mostly clear skies are expected in Cape Girardeau this evening with temperatures falling to the lower 30s.
Temperatures will be close to 10 degrees above average with highs in the 50s and 60s.
Mostly sunny and warm to close the work week in Cape, with our afternoon temperatures in the upper 50s.
The latest runs of StormCast have showers entering our area early Saturday morning, continuing throughout the day.
Models continue to suggest that we will receive some good moisture out of this weekend’s system. Isolated areas of flooding will be possible, with most of us seeing a decent chance of at least an inch of rainfall.
Seasonably warm temperatures continue through the weekend before we see a warm stretch beginning on President’s Day, with highs in the 60s and 70s.
