Widespread Morning Fog, Partly Sunny for President’s Day

Temperatures to start the day on Sunday will be a few degrees warmer than average, with most of us in the 30s.

Widespread fog is expected across the region early Monday morning, including here in Cape Girardeau. Temperatures should remain above freezing, but those heading into work could be dealing with reduced visibility.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in place for Monday morning, visibility could be reduced down to a quarter of a mile.

By the afternoon we look to heat up well across the Heartland, with high temperatures in the 60s. We usually see the upper 40s this time of year.

Variable cloudiness in and around Cape to start the work week off. If you have President’s Day off, it would not be a bad day to get out and enjoy some pleasant weather.

Temperatures remain above average for the week ahead, reaching their peak in the lower 70s on Wednesday and Thursday. Chances for rain enter the forecast starting on Thursday and look to continue into next weekend.
