Chilly, Breezy to Start the Work Week
A chilly start to the work week across the Heartland with a blustery afternoon ahead on Monday. We will need the coat for just a little while longer in Cape Girardeau before temperatures look to warm up later this week.
Tonight, many of us will see temperatures well below average in the middle to upper teens.
A breezy evening ahead for Cape Girardeau which will drive wind chills into the single digits for Monday morning.
By the afternoon temperatures will be close to our average low temperatures for this time of year. We usually see highs in the lower 50s, but we are expecting the middle 30s for Monday.
StormCast keeps us clear of precipitation chances for the start of the work week.
Near-average high temperatures return on Tuesday with temperatures remaining in the 50s or warmer for the rest of the work week. Showers and potentially a thunderstorm will be possible late Wednesday and into Thursday morning.
