Temperatures will take a drop on Sunday after we saw high temperatures on Saturday in the 70s. Chances for rain hit the forecast by Sunday evening.

We are expecting mild temperatures through the overnight hours leading into Sunday, with temperatures dropping to the 30s and 40s.
Light showers will be possible early on Saturday evening for Cape Girardeau, with temperatures falling to the upper 30s overnight with a strong northerly wind.
Highs will be close to average, if not a few degrees below, on Sunday across the Heartland.
We will reach the lower 50s in Cape before cloud cover and chances for rain pick up through Sunday afternoon and into the evening.
Temperatures reach their lowest point to start the work week with highs in the upper 40s. We do warm up by the middle of the week with ample chances of precipitation through the first week of March.
