Sunny Saturday, Stormy for Sunday
A warm Saturday afternoon on the way across the Heartland with highs expected in the upper 60s with a light southerly wind.

Low temperatures this evening will be close to average, in the upper 30s for the northern half of the viewing area.
We expect mostly clear skies tonight in Cape Girardeau, with light winds shifting to be out of the north.
Highs on Saturday will reach the upper 60s and lower 70s, leaving us with a warm start to the weekend in mid-March.
Sunny skies continue in Cape with highs expected on Saturday to reach the upper 60s.
The potential for storms ramps up late Sunday afternoon across the Heartland.
Much of the viewing area is under an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 out of 5) of severe weather for Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. Damaging winds will be the main concern, with a few isolated tornadoes possible.
Warm temperatures for the weekend, but a cold start to the work week following a strong cold front that will move through late Sunday into Monday morning. A few flurries will be possible early Monday morning with highs close to freezing. The cold does not stick around for long, as highs return to the 60s and 70s by the end of the work week.
