Sunny, Warm Close to the Week

A warm close to the work week is on the way for the Heartland, featuring high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s across the viewing area.

Lows tonight are expected to be mild, between 10 and 15 degrees above our average for mid to late March.

Mostly clear skies are expected for Thursday evening into early Friday morning for Cape Girardeau. Winds are expected to stay light, between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

Warm afternoon temperatures follow the mild start to our Friday. Highs will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Plenty of sunshine with highs close to 80 for Cape, winds will remain on the lighter side.

If we do not see the 80s on Friday, we will this weekend. Temperatures fall to the 60s with a small chance for rain by Tuesday. We have another warm-up on the way for the middle of next week.
