Sunny, Warmer to Start the Week

A warm start to the work week awaits the Heartland, but stronger winds will join the afternoon sunshine. Highs are expected in the 70s and 80s on Monday.

Temperatures will be very mild for Monday morning, with overnight lows reaching the middle 50s.

Mostly clear skies are expected for Cape Girardeau, with a strong southerly wind aiding our mild weather.

Highs continue to climb on Monday across the region, with strong winds continuing through the afternoon.

Highs return to the 80s again on Tuesday before temperatures cool slightly with increasing chances for precipitation. The start of April will bring a more active weather pattern across the Heatland, with showers and thunderstorms possible into next weekend.
