Remaining warm with storm chances increasing
The above average temperatures are going to continue through the next few days and rain chances are going to be increasing.
Highs on Wednesday will be a good 20 degrees above average with a gusty southwest wind.
The wind gusts will be out of the southwest at 10 to 25 mph at times.
Scattered showers and storms are going to be possible on Wednesday, as well. The severe threat is small.
The better chance for severe storms will be on Thursday (above), especially to the north in the level 2 “Slight Risk” yellow shaded area. We’re on the very southern edge of the storm chance.
A line of storms will push through on Thursday (above) giving us a small chance at some isolated strong to severe storms. Hail and damaging wind are the main concerns.
Storms continue to show up in the forecast Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We’ll look to dry out and cool off Easter Sunday into next week.
