Seasonal, Sunny for Easter Sunday
After a rainy start to the Easter weekend, clear skies are back in the forecast for Sunday. Temperatures will start in the lower 40s, then warm to the lower 60s during the afternoon.
After Saturday’s showers depart the region, the latest run of StormCast keeps us dry for the close of the weekend.
Low temperatures will be close to seasonal across the viewing area, reaching the lower 40s through the overnight hours.
We expect to see gradual clearing through Saturday evening and into Sunday morning for Cape Girardeau.
High temperatures for Easter Sunday will reach the lower 60s with a light breeze, which should make for a nice afternoon to enjoy the holiday outdoors.
Close to average, if not a few degrees cooler for Cape with highs in the lower 60s. Winds look to be light for any afternoon Easter egg hunts!
The large-scale pattern looks to keep us dry through the upcoming work week. After a brief dip in temperatures on Tuesday, highs jump into the 70s for the remainder of the week.
