Cloud, Warmer for Sunday Afternoon, Rain Chances Late
Highs return to the 80s on Sunday as cloud cover is expected to build throughout the afternoon. We will be a bit breezy, but that should not ruin any outdoor plans to close out the weekend.
Outside of mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon, chances for precipitation start to increase late Sunday evening into early Monday.
Lows for the start of Sunday are expected to be very mild for early-to-mid April, with temperatures only reaching the upper 50s and 60s.
We look to get down to the upper 50s tonight in Cape Girardeau with partly cloudy skies.
As the winds pick up throughout Sunday afternoon, so will our temperatures. Many of us can expect highs on Sunday afternoon in the 80s.
We start out with partly cloudy in Cape and will see mostly cloudy skies after lunchtime. Warmer weather is still expected throughout the afternoon.
Warmer temperatures continue for the week ahead with near-daily chances for showers and thunderstorms starting Wednesday. We look to stay in the 80s for high temperatures until next weekend.
