Partly Sunny Saturday, Storm Chances Increase for the Holiday Weekend

A sunny start to Memorial Day weekend, but partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach the lower 80s with a light breeze.

A seasonal evening ahead for Friday night with temperatures falling to the upper 50s and lower 60s during the overnight hours.

Showers are expected to wrap up heading into Friday evening, with cloud cover sticking around in Cape Girardeau.

Highs on Saturday will also be close to normal for late May, reaching the lower 80s.
