Storms chances, mainly to the north
Storms are going to be possible Wednesday into early Thursday, but most of the activity will be well to our north. It’s going to get hot, too.
There is a level 4 “MODERATE RISK” for severe storms in northern Illinois and Indiana Wednesday. We’ll be on the very southern edge of this severe weather threat.
Storms will be moving from northwest to southeast and by the time they get into our area late Wednesday into early Thursday, most of the severe aspects will have been washed out.
We’re still on the edge of the severe weather threat, though. Late Wednesday into early Thursday we may see a few lingering strong to severe storms.
Wednesday will be hot, too. Most of us will be very close to 90 for an afternoon high.
The dew point will be well into the 70s, as well. So it’s going to be humid.
Temperatures near 90 and dew points in the 70s means that our head index will be well into the 90s.
It’s going to be windy, too!
