Slow warm up, storms by mid week
A quiet and cool-ish first half of the week will give way to more storm chances and much warmer temperatures.
For Tuesday, with a mix of clouds and sun, we’ll see highs a few degrees below average.
The dew point will be tolerable, so the heat index won’t be an issue.
A cool breeze from the north should help keep our temperatures cooler than they would normally be this time of year.
Our next thunderstorm chance moves in the 2nd half of the day on Wednesday. Severe weather threats look minimal.
More thunderstorms are possible through the rest of the week and small chances into the weekend. We slowly but surely warm up, too.
